Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Pay4U processes, why we process it, who we share it with, and the rights you can exercise.

Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, phone number and password credentials.
- Profile and preference data: notification channels, allocation rules and wallet configuration.
- Transaction data: simulated or, in live operation, real wallet movements, mandates and payment records.
- Technical data: device, browser, IP address, and security and audit event logs.
- Support data: messages you send us and the records of our responses.
Why we process it
- To provide the service you asked for: wallets, allocation, mandate monitoring and forecasting.
- To keep accounts secure, detect fraud and maintain an append-only audit trail.
- To meet legal obligations, including record-keeping and anti-money-laundering duties.
- To communicate service notices and, with consent, product updates.
Lawful bases
We rely on performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests in securing and improving the platform, and your consent where consent is required (for example marketing messages).
Sharing
We share personal data with the infrastructure and communication providers listed in our Subprocessors page, and with regulators, auditors or law enforcement where legally required. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Account and transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable financial record-keeping rules, and audit log entries are retained for the life of the account plus the statutory retention period. Data we no longer need is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Your rights
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
